STEP 1: Place machine carefully on its side on a soft cloth or rubber mat and remove the 6 screws that hold the base plate to the frame. |

STEP 2: Remove the one rubber foot at the top closest to the front of the machine. This will allow the base plate to lift out of place. |

STEP 3: Remove the base plate and set aside. |
 |

STEP 4: Remove the 4 screws that hold the hand grip to the frame. |
 |
|
STEP 5: Carefully turn the machine over to the other side and remove the other hand grip. |
 |
|
STEP 6: Remove the 4 screws that hold the battery in the machine. |
 |
|
STEP 7: Now that the battery is free, wiggle the 3 plugs out of the old battery, insert the new battery, and reassemble the machine again. |
